Hi guys
I like to buy the TM with 01 steel very soon, and want to know, whether it can be possible that moisture may come between the guard and the kraton handle and makes the tang rusty.
Would be great to hear from you.

In theory I guess it would be possible. How much damage it would do is 100% speculation. I personally have an O1 TM, and it is THICK. The amount of rust it would take to affect the strength of the TM would be insane. I can truly say I'm not in the least bit worried about it. There are so many other ways to mess up a blade that the minute chance that it would rust at the blade/ handle junction is of virtually no concern. :)

Thanks a lot, Vegas Blade, that was of great help, although I have supposed it. By the way another question, because of your experiences with the TM.
A friend of mine ask me about the possibility to use it also for wild boar hunting. Would you think it has the capability to be used as a good stabber, I mean is the point sharp and tapered enough for a thrust? Would nice to get an answer.
Thanks in advance.

If it is able to stab through a car hood I'm pretty sure it will stab through the living tissue of a boar. I have only handled a trailmaster once but I'm positive it would do the job. The laredo bowie would stab even better though.

Thank you for your answer. Regarding the tip of the Laredo I'm also sure, but because of the tang structure I prefer the TM.
