Trailmaster handle fix

When a trailmaster rubber handle gets loose, can one tap out the lanyard tube and slide handle off tang, then clean and epoxy it back on?

Absolutely. I just removed the rubber from my Recon Scout. I ended up cutting mine and found out it was surprisingly easy to remove. The trick you may have is removing the lanyard tube without damaging the grip. Then you have the issue of what to do with the lanyard hole once you replace the handle since you won't have the tube. Someone else may have some suggestions.

BTW, I removed my handle to replace with micarta. IF my design works out I'll post some picks on the forum.
