Trainer Bali's?

I searched a couple times and found nothing so I ask here...

I live in North Houston, TX. I have and carry enough knives as it is (all legal), but I have always wanted a knife to play with when I am bored. Since I do not need another blade I have seriously considered the Bali 40TR (Red Trainer). Is this legal to carry around since it is not a actual blade? If a leo walks up can I hand him the trainer and he think oh drat cant do anything? There is always that chance of the serious blood and gut you cant do this cop I know but for the most part will I be protected from them...

(I understand that people could easily think it as a real one but I am not about to run around all flippity do dah with it, I just want something to do when I am alone and away from my house and in a knifey mood, a more portable hobby)

It's not unlawful to carry an unsharpened trainer with a blunt tip. However, if you're flipping it in a place where others can see it -- and be "alarmed" -- you can still be charged with "Menacing" . . . same as if you were waving around a black plastic cap gun.
