Tramontina sheaths?

I ordered a 22" and 18" blade Tramontina machetes and (I did not realize when I ordered) they did not come w/ sheaths.

Does anyone know of any economical sheaths?

There's always duct tape and cardboard I guess

I found a guy down in South America that had some handmade leather sheaths. I think I paid like $50 for two of them, but they're well worth it. Can't remember who it was, but I found them on Google.

550 chord, a darner needle and duck canvas from walmart...

Could use pvc..I think joe could help with that when he gets back. Basicly heat a piece of pvc stick it in and mold around blade

The sheath my $5 Tramontina came with is so cheap I'm surprised it survived any shipping. I'll be trying my hand at making a kydex one here in the next week or two. If I have any luck I'll post a picture.
