Love this knife series. What a "just right" size for me, wide short blade, but thin enough to not feel bulky. Great design! It's a simple design that is so easy to modify and is greatly (i think) improved by it.
Peek-a-boo orange side: See new clip. Nothing wrong with the factory one, I just like a shorter one.(.032" titanium.

The Orange G10 is an eye catcher, won't loose it. I had the G10 polished and smooth before, but it was a bit slick, making it hard to fish out of my pocket. So I worked out this "ridge" system and I like it much better.

I had a little "accident" with the blade opening as I pull out from the pocket, the stud on the lock side did it. I machined the stud down a little, that's it there.

CLB, make more, maby a "bowie" style??

Absolutly great! Love this orange G10.
How thick was the G10 plate you have used?

Simply stunning! Now I only wish they made a full SE version of that and called it the Rescue Trance.... Chad?

g scott,
I made it, with titanium it is child's play. No heat treating, just bend(carefully) and enjoy.

gull,

That's one pretty knife. I'm curious. Is there a steel liner hiding in there somewhere behind that g10 scale?

Gull Wing,
THAT is a good look'n little knife! I mean all around good look'n. Is red G-10 an option? What is the price-like I need another knife? Nice work. Thanks!

vsanks,
Thank you, No metal liner required, G10 is more than enough for a knife this size.
Note = Spyderco Military has only one metal liner lock.

logican,
I am not a pro, I have no secrets.
I have a Micro Mill and used a 1/8" ball cutter to create the "flutes". I eye balled it, no computer.
