I started with this Buck 110 factory nickel silver frame with a S30v drop point blade and mailed it off:

A short 4 months later, I receive this back. The new centerpiece of my Buck knives with pinned mammoth tusk end grain scales, vine filework, and superb fluted bolsters. Here is a few pictures:

One day I will commission a 112 with Mammoth tusk..Yous is the first reference to end grain scales I've seen and its really interesting 'pattern'. Just considering it is 12,000 years old or longer since it walked around gives a you a real connection with our past..
A great 1 of 1!!

The pic of the file worked spine with the handles is absolutely amazing. Beautiful.

I just went back for a second look at the filework..It is amazing! The 'segments' are longer and not busy looking. I look at many Buck Customs and yours is a classic. I hope you are considering giving it limited use as it's a perfect Dress Up Carry Buck.
