So I saw the movie yesterday, pretty people, sweet special effects, lot's of military fire power, ton's of mayhem.

They also did a great job with the actual Transformers transforming. I'm 99% sure Grant and Gavin Hawk had some input in this area of the flick. :D
 
man i lost all respect for you guys-

i bet you watch pokeman & barney the purple dinosaur -
 
Respect for us? You are the one who just acknowledged "Pokeman" and "Barney"... I would put money on a Transformer anyday... a real man watches Transformers. Barney? Pokeman?
 
Saw it yesterday as well, like I said in another thread we are all just big kids.;)

Were there any knives in the movie? I haven't
seen it yet, but since the preview showed a lot of military
there probably is a knife in there somewhere.
Hell, I grew up on the Transformers. I was 10-11 years old
when they came out. First year Fox was on the air they
carried the toon. We would have to book-it to get to
school on time because it was on from 7:00 to 7:30 am.

I'm biding my time. I hate crowded theaters.

Why, yes. Optimus Prime shoved his alien robot arm sword right through Bone Crusher's face.



That was probably the most kick ass movie I've seen in 5 years. Maybe the most kick ass movie since The Matrix.
 
if the aliens are so dang smart-why would they be gmc (genericly made crap) vehicles?

if they were smart they would have been toyota or honda's -

that tells me they arent smart aliens like they want us to believe-
 
Personally I kind of find the home-grown automobiles a little more my speed. Haven't you seen the GMC commercials... "Transform your ride". But thats ok... Barney does seem to be a little more "your" speed.

well id take barney in a fight over the transformers,after all they are designed after gmc vehicles so there is a good chance they will brake down soon or slip on the oil they leak -
 
Can't wait to see the movie myself. It should appear here in a week or two. ;)
Funny thing, I just bought to my 5 yrs. old son a set of fresh transformers (Decepticons this time) :) He is into robots big time, not like his little brother (3 yrs. old) who wants only guns, swords and knives :D

Maybe they wanted to be vehicles that were worth a damn instead.
 
I agree, Great movie.

My 5 year old has been playing with some of the new toys for a while (plus my Brother bought him the original movie cartoon - he has watched it many times) and so I had to take him. He loved it as well and will not stop talking about it!

Toyota fan boys show up in the oddest places. It's nausiating that anyone would choose a Tundra over a GMC, shows total stupidity.
