Translation help please

[CUTS LIKE A KRIS]

I purchased this sickle for $5 at an antique show and was wondering if anybody out there could tell me what the symbols mean. It looks like they are identical, and I'm pretty sure they say "Hattori Hanzo"

Both are "早" in circle. that means "early, fast".
It is used about time, not about speed.
Also it is used in a part of second name.
Maybe it is from maker's name or appeal of "fast cutting".

Hattori Hanzo is "服部半蔵" in kanji, it doesn't contain "早".

Thank you for the information- I was kidding about the Hanzo part, but forgot the smilie, I was just trying to be funny. So I can get through the grasses with this quickly and go back to having a beer after!!
