Hi, I'm new and dont understand a lot of the abreviated things that are being used. For instance, what does SPF stand for etc. Is there someplace in here that I could refer to for translation? Thanks.

SPF is used in the for sale forums and it means that the item for sale is "sold pending funds". So the item is spoken for and the seller is waiting for payment to arrive either by paypal or in the mail by check or money order. You just kind of have to learn these crazy things but don't be afraid to ask. If for some reason the buyer doesn't come through with the payment then they can remove SPF and still offer it for sale.

Usually once payment is received then we just mark it "sold"

what does "CONUS" mean?

Continental Unites States, formerly known as the 'lower 48 states'. It means the shipper won't ship overseas, or to AK or HI.

Usually a seller that says CONUS only can be persuaded to ship to AK or HI if the buyer pays the difference in cost, since the USPS tracking system still works.

There's another acronym to add: USPS= Unites States Postal Service
