In case you missed it, Hinderer sent Brian of Transparent Knives a cease and desist letter, demanding that Brian retract his finding that one Hinderer knife Rockwell tested at slightly below 59 hrc, and apologize publicly for reporting his test result. And by way of contrast, Brian also found that a blade in an Arcane Design knife tested slightly below spec. This is his exchange with THAT knife designer:

In the prior (now closed) thread about the RHK drama, several posters objected to Brian's testing because, they claimed, his machine wasn't certified. This is incorrect. His machine was inspected by an independent third party and certified.
