I new that, I have seen some of your other work and it is very good.
As is this one, keep it up Rusty. -:)
Thanks for showing.

Wow that means a lot coming from a maker of your caliber. I figured I'd better start with the hollow grinding sooner or later and I just got a 12" wheel and went at it. It really seemed easier than flat grinding to be honest. Still trying to get the picture thing down, I'm getting there though.

And thank you as well Mr Hurst, maybe some day I will have something to send to you for some of your art work.

Again thanks for the complements and for looking.

That is really nice. Great work. Can we get some specs on this one? Looks to be about the right size for a nice back pocket knife.

The slanted rear bolster throws me off a bit. It still looks good but I would rather it matched the front bolster's alignment. A minor thing considering the rest of the knife. There also appears to be a little something extra on the right side of the shield. Is that a pin?

Seriously nice work...I'd carry this one in a second.

6 1/4" open with a 3 1/8" blade very light in the hand and in the pocket to my surprise.
The blade and spring is 3/32" D2 HT and Cryo'd by me. and is some kind of scary sharp. When I made it I didn't intend for the back bolster to angle that much but thing happen and I didn't feel like changing it and I think it is what adds to or takes away from the weight of the knife. Oh and the thing on the shield is an imperfection I forgot to take off before I put it in the scale it was my fault.

Heck Mr. Rusty, you can't do better than this trapper ....... can you ? Being as small as it is , it certainly wouldn't cost much.

Most excellent Rusty. Love the estcheon. How did you make it so perfect?

Now me, I'm all about the slanted rear bolster---just seems to give it some flair. Very nice, the whole thing

Thanks for looking and all the kind words. I should have another one up in a bout a week or so, two blades this time.
