Just finished the handle on this one. Not sure I like the lanyard hole. Think it looked better without it. But it's there now.

The blade is 1075 carbon 12" X 1.75" X .25". The guard and bolsters are mild steel. The handle scales are lightly stained quilted maple.

I'm not entirely sure about the lanyard hole, either, but I love the knife otherwise.

Thanks James. The lanyard hole looks better with a cord through it.

Here's the sharpened knife and sheath. I made the beltloop and leg-tie removable for a "pack" style carry.
This one just started it's e-bay ride.

Lanyards serve a purpose, but the holes can take away from the looks of a knife. The hole seems out of place on that handle, to me anyway. The rest of the knife looks good.
