I have two available to carry, that I've had for years.
Both are a inexpensive Rough Rider with no monitary value to speak of. As far as I can remember, I've never carried either.
Is this ... "oversight" ... in error? Should I add them to the rotation?
(I normaly carry a stockman.)

I love carrying a trapper. Two full size blades comes in handy. You do lose the straight edge of the stockman, though. It’s a horse a piece for me.

why not carry them? Are you going through a minimalism phase?
I'm not sure.
I have a Barlow and faux Bundeswehr West German cold war era GAK (primary is a wood saw, secondary a full size spear point, behind the saw. A cork screw and awl/punch are on the back.)
The real same era West German Bundeswehr has the blades in the same order.
From what I can see, this fake one is 1 or 2 mm longer than the real ones. Aside from that, the country of origion, price, (this fake was only $5.99 new; a lot less than a vintage real one - if you can find one for sale in the USA) and probably the blade steel, there is no difference that I can see.

I took off the decades carried Buck 110/Old Timer 7OT or 2 blade slipjpoint folding hunter because I "never" use them. I "always" reach in my pocket for whatever knive I have there ... at least for the last 5 or 8 years.
I might have used a Buck 110 twice in that time to trim a 3 to 4 inch diameter branch so it wouldn't whack folks in the face when walking or bicycling downtown Twin Falls using the bike path/sidewalk.
(Yes. the cops saw me trimming a branch once. They didn't say anything to me. They just waved from their squad car as they drove by. I left the branch by the trash can for the city to pickup. Who knows? Maybe if I had taken the branch they would have said something about "stealing" city property ...)

I think the answer to your dilemma is more pockets. Cargo pants and a fishing vest should work.

I love two-bladed patterns the most as I like to use a dirty blade/clean blade approach. I tried a stockman for a few months several years ago and never found myself using all 3 blades so 2 full-length blades more sense to me.

I also like them more for camping and things, using the same approach, but the food blade tends to get more use since kitchen knives aren't available. I've gone back and for to which was the clean blade or dirty blade, the clip or spey. The spey made the most sense originally as the food blade but then I found a few cases, like opening pouches or making fillets, where the pointy clip made more sense so more recently I started using the spey for dirty cutting and carving. Really, I've started to see the value in a moose pattern where it's a clip and spear.

I still think my favorite was a GEC modified trapper that traded the spey for a wharncliffe blade but I have the Lionsteel bestman for that configuration now.

I have a few trappers. There was a Case around here, but maybe Conchita took it when she moved. My nicest one is a Rough Rider Jumbo, or Fat Daddy, or something, in smooth tobacco bone and an acorn shield. It is a lot bigger than I like to carry. I would like it a lot better if it had a sheepsfoot or wharncliffe in place of the spey.

If you've never had the urge to carry them before then the pattern just may not appeal to you.
I personally I'm okay with a single blade , but if theres 2 I want one to be shorter than the other.

The only time I've carried a trapper is when I had a job where I had to eat lunch in the little employees cafe at work. The trapper was the perfect knife for lunch use, with its big spey blade.
