TrapperLock versus TrapperLiner.

These folders are so similar, I thought I'd get second opinions on which one might be better.
The prices are close enough to not be an issue.

I am leaning toward the Case TrapperLock with chestnut bone and CV steel.

But the Stag handle Boker is tempting me.

Are there other brands with one-hand opening, locking, old timer folders like these?
Thanks.

Just be careful regarding the Boker LL. I tried one on a traditional pattern knife and the lock was a total joke. I could defeat the lock just by trying to close the knife, no spine whacks, nothing crazy, just trying to fold it closed. I don't know if that is common for Bokers because it was the only Tradional pattern LL in the store, but it was terrible. I have heard good things about the Case LL, but never handled one.

I've got one of the Case chestnut bone CV Trapperlocks, and IMO its a sweet knife. I've never handled a Boker folder, though, so I can't compare the two.

The Case Trapperlock knives are too smooth to pocket carry in my opinion. If Case would make the Trapperlock a slipjoint/liner like the Russlock and Mid-folding Hunter I think it would be ok. You would have some tension to keep the blade closed in your pocket and when opened the liner lock goes into effect. My chestnut bone version is too loose to pocket carry and I believe would open in my pocket. Plus my index finger sometimes closes the blade because the finger indention is cut too big. I think Case still has some kinks to work out on these. I have handled many of the Trapperlocks at local hardwares and gun shows. The problems I experience with mine seem pretty constant. Case does make a good slipjoint though and I am fond of their other linerlocks, but, like I said, the trapperlock is still fairly new and Case has to work out some kinks.

To TheGent, that's unfortunate to hear as I was hoping to use this as an EDC blade.
Is there any kind of "ball and detent" for keeping it closed?
Could you place some grip tape between the bone handle and the liner, to force the liner lock further in when in the closed position?
