travel concerns - CA,MD,VA

Hi Everyone

i'll be travelling soon to California, Maryland and Virginia
can anyone tell me if a benchmade bugout is ok to carry ?
my English isn't all that good and those knife laws are tough

The Bugout is a conventional folding knife, and so is legal in all of those states. There are some local restrictions, such as Los Angeles, where because the knife has a blade longer than 3 inches, you have to keep it concealed when in public. Concealment is not to hide it from anyone, but rather the law actually forbids openly carrying a knife public unless it's for a occupation or common lawful usage reason.
