Hey everyone. I'm new. I've got a common question, but the internet has so many different answers, I can't tell which is right.

I need to know if I can a.) get some sort of license that will allow me to travel throughout the U.S. with two swords, and b.) if I can do the same thing in other countries. Also, what websites do I need to visit in order to apply? Thanks.

That depends on whether the swords will be duct-taped to your back under your clothes, or just packed in your luggage. :D

I'll be legal and put them in my bags... Unless (doubtful) there is a way I can legally carry them on my person (concealed or not) abroad.

Short answer: don't take swords on travel. If you are moving, fine, check for specific laws in specific areas. If you have to go, a hard-case for fishing rods will draw much less attention of all sorts than a gun case if the guards on your blades allow. Sword laws can vary by city or municipality, much less than by state, so keep them put away. And nations? Try taking a katana to England and see how that goes. Due process and right to counsel are wonderful things, and you won't find them enshrined anywhere but the U.S.

Good luck with laws like texas's five inch or so law. But ain't illegal in Cali

You can travel freely in the US with swords. You CAN'T carry them on your person at the ready, in some jurisdictions.

Traveling with them is a different story. Outside the US, you are asking for trouble.
