First time post here on the Emerson forum, so hello. My question is if anyone here can give any insight on the Traveler. I have my eye on this one and would like some opinions from people who may have encountered it in the wild. Thanks for your time.

I've owned a Traveler for a few years and I have mixed feelings about it. It's a very solid knife and it has a great blade shape, especially for a sub 3" knife. Unfortunately, It's also the only Emerson I own that I cannot open reliably with the Wave.

The Traveler is just as hardy as any other Emerson model. It's just a smaller knife. I wear a size 7.5 glove and it was too small for me; so I gave it to my youngest brother, and now it's his favorite and most carried knife.

The wave on it also extends more vertically than other models- kind of like the M-wave. So it draws and deploys very easily. If you were to get one, I think you might be pretty happy with it. The size isn't scary by any means, and fits EDC purposes spot on.
