A sample request has been put in for a revised prototype with an oval socket like the one on the Condor Matagi and Crocodilian Machete. This should prevent rotation of the blade when mounted without requiring a set screw or nail, which is of particular importance when mounted up in axe/adze configuration. Shown below is a digital mockup, but I'll post up photos and report on further testing once the prototype gets here.
