Well my job is taking me off to Italy on Monday, heading to Savona, staying there but the office is in a small town called Dego.

Flying into Nice and driving up the coast, should be interesting, I hear that driving in Italy can be challenging to say the least? ;)

Then back on Friday and then off on Sunday for St Simon's Island Georgia for a week's stay.

Home a week after that, and then off to Cham Switzerland, buggers eh?

It will be a very hectic trip!!!

Have a great trip, Gary. It is not at all a bad thing to have quality world travel as one of the perks of the job that "goes with the territory". Don't forget the camera.

:) I will be proud to be able to tell my children that I knew you before you became a famous world traveler and photographer.

Thanks Wray, I'm seriously considering not bringing the camera along on this trip as it will be work for two days and then home, no real time to move about Italy and with the new camera it's a pain to lug around and keep an eye on, bummer having to work eh? No direct flights so several connections will make it a pain to drag around a laptop computer and camera, at least if I take the laptop case it has wheels to help drag it about.

Have a save trip Gary! Bring me back a cannoli! :D

Gary...About driving in Italy; While driving, keep you eyes closed, and keep the "pedal to the metal", just like the locals do. Also, it helps to keep your middle finger ready for "the single finger salute", as you'll need to use it quite often...(Or was that while driving in France?.:D.:D.).

Have a safe trip, and don't run over any goats.:).

Been to St. Simons quite a few times - great place to relax. Hope you get a few minutes free....

Funny you should mention how to drive there, I was practicing being right on the bumper of the cars in front of me in town, as I read that is what you need to do in Italy, leave no room for someone to move in, or they will...
So, my plan is to drive like I stole the car, in a way, that may be fun ;)
I'm a way too cautious driver though and too forgiving so it may be some
trouble trying to bully my way through, but after a two hour drive I hope to
get some idea on how they drive, we shall see! :)

Cannoli? I'll checkem out!

Dan, I was there back in May, HOT place, hopefully chilled down a little in a couple weeks, looking forward to it, that should be nice at least!
Flying into Jacksonville and driving up.

Do have a safe trip and I know it's work but take a few minutes and smell the flowers. :)
