Travelling to California, can I bring my knife along??

Hi all,

my wife and I are going to travel to California from Hong Kong,

I understand that I can pack the knife in the check-in luggage to comply with the airport safety law.

but is it legal for a foreign tourist like me to carry a knife in California?



as my wife and I are going to various country parks during the travel, it will be better to have a blade in hand....

afterall....better be prepared than sorry.

BTW: my knife is a Boker Pipsqueak folder, which is non-assisted/not auto/< 3" blade

I've never been hasseled anywhere in California for knife carry. If your carrying a fixie on your person, carry it exposed and as far as i know it can be any length. folders cannot be auto, no dirks or daggers.

You should be able to travel freely and legally with your Boker Pipsqueak throughout the entire state.
