A few days ago someone dumped a treadmill on the side of the road by my neighbors house.
I now have the motor and 3 very large control boards on a bench set up and running.
The problem is that somewhere on the boards it is set up to start the motor very slow and come up to a usable speed over about a minute or so. It doesn't shut down any quicker either. This is a built in safety I would guess.
Has any one else found this problem?
I think I should just buy a DC VS controller from maybe the Surplus Center with voltage output to closely match the motor voltage ( max 130VDC ) and do away with all 3 boards ???
Any one have any thoughts on this plan?
Pete
