I put a treadmiil motor on my ginder
a few days on. Well boys I`ll never
be without one again, beats the h-ll
out of step pullies. Cut my finish
time in half:D

Glad to here that it worked for you.I have been using mine for over a year now with no problems and this way I can save up and get a closed end motor some day,but I figure I will wait until I burn this one up,and that doeasn't look like it will be real soon..
See I haver been telling everybody that they work good,They work great on the metal cutting or regular bandsaws also.

How did you guys adapt a pulley to your treadmill motor? I have one, but it didn't come with a nut (metric left hand thread?) and the shaft on mine is an odd size. Did you modify the pulley? How? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Patrick

The one on my grinder I had a guy at the machine shop make a wheel and drill the hole to match the shaft,The other one I have I was lucky and had a pulley off a washingmachine that fit perfectly. You should be able to take it to a place that selld pullys and have them get you one to fit it.
