I wanted to share a few gifts sent to me by Duncan (Campbellclanman). Over the time I have been in our little part of knife paradise, I have watched with awe his generosity to many of the members here, the warmth he puts into his his comments, and the enthusiasm he has for Traditional knives. I now am another recipient of his generosity and kindness. Duncan, I will carry this knife with the mindfulness of that essence you exhibit every day.

Nice! Very generous of you Duncan. I like the Ulster, Vivaldi is great, mix it with New Zealand and you have pure unadulterated awesomeness. Going to NZ is definitely on my bucket list.
 
Once again Duncan proves he is a Gentleman, and you my friend are very lucky guy to have this treasure. Good on both of you.

Gevonovich, all my pleasure my friend, That Ulster has special connections and I chose that Ulster because the Gentleman whom it came from is just a fantastic guy - and I sort of felt he would want you to have this You are a very important part of our community, I will miss the knife, but not as much as I enjoyed giving it to you and knowing that you now own it!
 
Duncan's generosity is legendary, and I'm proud to have spent a little time in his company. Beautiful knife Gev, you're a very worthy recipient. You guys are two of the pillars of our little community here. Great stuff :)
 
A lovely gesture, good on you Duncan.

I'm sure we'll be seeing that on the stump a good few times.

Terrific knife and additional gifts Gev! you sir are so worthy!!! Duncan is such a class act (both of you are) and it's great to see the camaraderie displayed here so often.

Wouldn't have been official until the "Stump" shot was taken :p

Thank, Duane! It really is one sweet knife. It has that swick swick, perfect stops, 3&3/8th size, and its a slicer.
 
That is a real fine Ulster, Gev, from the days when Dwight Devine insisted on the finest quality. A treasure of a gift from a guy who knows a good knife when he sees one.

I too have received strokes of largesse from Duncan!
Perhaps it would be all right to post gifts from Duncan others have received???
