A few days ago, I received a huge box from Wauseon.

Inside, I found this :D

Here it is, next to its little brothers

A comparison of the tips of the AB and AK. The AB miked at .265 at the ricasso, and carries that the full length of the blade. The AK mikes at .189

I took the Butaniku into the back yard to cut up some pool noodles

(There should be more pictures here, but the "Worst Cameraman in the World™" managed to not take any somehow)

I, however, managed to get a video of said cameraman cutting up a noodle

After some light noodle cutting, we took the AB a bit farther. We cut up a couple empty beer cans (again, no pics )

I then split some white pine firewood rounds, worked really well I must say. One swing through a 14" long 12" diameter round. Fairly straight grain, but still, it worked well. (Sorry, still no pics. Maybe Steve will come try again one night)

We then wandered into the bush behind my yard, and I took down a small tree. (Please, no laughing at my fat ninja sword skill :D :p)

And another small spruce fell victim to the Butaniku

All in all, I must say "I'm in LOVE". It's massive. It's INFI. What's not to like? I do find it a bit harder to get enough blade speed, compared to the AK or Ruck, but that's probably more my poor form than anything. This one is definitely a keeper.

AWESOME.

Now that looks like a good time! I cant get over how big it is compared to the other "swords"

Wow, I would love to have my way with that sword for a half hour

I'm so glad the thread went this way.
The title had me worried...:p

I'm not even gonna try to defend myself but I'll come and take pics again in an attempt to redeem myself!!!
The AB is AWESOME fun to play with. It's fricken' HUGE!!!

So just to be completely clear what we are talking about -- your pork sword came in a huge box, and later you whacked wood in the bush?

You've shown what a lot of people *coughcoughwomencough* don't understand:

The larger the sword, the goofier it is to handle/use correctly ;)

awesome swords!

the ak47 is definitely on my wishlist - maybe even the ab

btw today i got tree sap on the paint of my car today - the title just reminded me

Awesome pictures! Thanks for sharing your fun with us, it's always good to see INFI getting the love it deserves.

DUDE, holy S#!+ that is freaken awesome!!! Another regret:grumpy: I'll have to endure.

Pretty epic!

I saw one of the letters saying that with the length of the sword, it was not for chopping immovable objects, and might take a permanent set!

I would love a matched set of AK's, Ruki's, and Bantoku's, all satin, and a whole mess of rice mat targets!

I kept checking for any hint of deformation or damage before taking it a bit further. It's passed with flying colours so far!
I can't wait to strip this bad boy!

I haven't been going after any giant oak trees. Yet.....

That is so bloody awesome. The vids didn't work for me :( However, I held a couple of those at Blade this year and I know the heft they have. I'd love to see that thing in action doing big sweeping slices on something.
