Hey Guys...

I just got a treestand that comes with a safety belt, and it SUCKS in a BIG way......I frigging hate it,,but don't know what to buy...Its,,soo frigging noisy I'm afraid to use it..

Should I buy a body harness,,,or is that overkill ??

I'd prefer to just use a double loop and a locking Biner instead of all this noisy crap..Quick Simple and Safe

Any ideas ???

I wear a Blackhawk riggers belt everyday now and I love it! Only problem is that it uses velcro, so it may be too noisy for what you need.

Hey Normark

Shoot me a e-mail or PM. . .need to talk to you about a order that I placed with you.

Thanks

Just how much is your neck worth?

I wear a body harness in my climbing stand. It has a loop between the sholder blades. I just loop the safety line around the tree, and above a branch, so I can sit or stand. Heard of way too many falling out of stands. Remember a fall over about six feet can kill you and any fall can twist a knee or ankle so you can't walk.

Hey guys..

Yaaa I know its important..
I'll probably end up grabbing one before I go...

I chest strap is a cheap way of doing it....

For next year I'm Seriously looking into a Tree Saddle instead of a stand...Seems a real comfortable way to hunt...

Appreciate the comments though, and have taken them under advisement....

Thanks

Hey Guys...

BTW..

As far as Rigger belts go...

I wear a Wilderness daily as well I have a Blackhawk Rigger belt...

They are fine and dandy for emergency use,, but I won't use it in a stand..
for one thing,, Way too noisy...

Great belts though..
