Trek 7 LED flashlight. Experience?

You can't turn it on with one hand. Since it has 2 "O" rings it doesn't turn very easy. It is however waterproof to 300+ feet. I have heard that you can remove the first O ring and it is much easier to turn, but then it isn't suppose to be waterproof to more than 10 feet.

It is dimmer than the 3 D Mag, it is brighter than a 2 AA mag, and very close to a standard 2 D mag. It runs about 24 hours at full brightness, then runs another 40 until it is about 50% as bright.

Brock has about summed it up. Unlike the larger Maglites, the Trek7 turns on by twisting the head. Not an easy ask for a light this size. The other problem is that LEDs are very bright, but they don't throw the light very well. But be warned, the LEDs are very piercing when you look directly at them.
