OK, first of what does OHT mean? Next, I have a German Army SAK. I want a Kydex sheath. Is the knife the "same" as the Trekker? I tried a search, but this site only comes back with a blank page when searching more than one word for me.

By the way, I was not keen on the serrations, but know I love them. My Spyderco Native's serrations were so aggressive, it caught while cutting. The serrations on the SAK a mild but really increase cutting performance.

"OHT" stands for "One Hand Trekker". "One Hand" refers to the ability to open the main blade with one hand, due to the "eye" on the main blade. There are other "One Hand" Vic models, including my favorite, the OHF One Hand Fireman.

I don't own one of the "GAKs" German Army Knives but I believe the current GAK is like the OHT except that the GAK doesn't have the tweezers and toothpick that the OHT has... and of course, the scales on the OHT and GAK are different colors and the GAK has the German army eagle logo on it.

The serrations on the OH Vic models are great!

If you are going to buy any Vic SAK, including the OHT or GAK, consider buying from FelineVet ( email: felinevet@sosakonline.com ). His prices are excellent, his service is great, and the net proceeds go to a charity that provides free vet care for cat owners who cannot afford to pay for care for their kitties! :D
