Trench Hawk carry system/solution?

I have recently acquired a Cold Steel Trench Hawk and I honestly don't like the sheath. It's neat, and keeps it well protected but I'm having a hard time finding a way to carry it and deploy it using only one hand. I'm not military or anything, so it's not a big deal but I like all of my tools to be put into use as easily as possible.

Anyone find a solution to this or know of any good custom solutions?

I have considered just getting some Kydex and doing something that way, but I am out of state for a while and all of my Kydex working tools aren't with me.

Any help or links are appreciated.

Sorry Charlie. I, for one, have no answers for you. Maybe try the sheath forum?

Don't know what's out there for your CS hawk but here's what I found on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kydex-Quick...561?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a6ed4a411

If your looking for something that allows you to use 1 hand to retrieve the hawk this side mounted backpack sheath is the BOMB, but I doubt it'll fit the CS hawk! I mounted mine on my backpack and it is awesome, all I do to retrieve the hawk is reach over my right shoulder and pull upwards...and bingo.... it's ready for use.

If you know anyone near you that makes kydex holsters you should take your hawk to him and have one made, or you could buy an nicer hawk with a sheath and not have to hassle with finding a sheath maker. ;)
