Well if I called it "Another Primitive D Guard Dueling Bowie" nobody
would look anymore.
Just finished this short bladed version out. I'll make a sheath shortly.

Great looking blade. The smaller size fits that design.

I work it down from the handle and curl it back to the pommel (the easy way).
The sides of the guard and the bolsters are one piece welded at the spine and finger groove.
The sides of the pommel are welded in place after the guard's end is forge welded and trimmed.
After all beating is done and a rough profile is achieved I dress everything up with a plasma cutter,
and grinding tools that I've made if needed.
