I’m in the market for a smallish trench knife (dagger) with knucks built in. The Cold Steel Chaos is the right idea but way too big and heavy. I’d like something compact and light. There’s a youtube video of a Brous trench knife built exactly like what I’m after but naturally it’s about as available as space dust. One piece. Paracord wrapped. Double edged. Skull crusher pommel. Knuck holes with enough room for arthritic knuckles to freely move around in. Kydex sheath with multiple carry options and good retention (this won’t be a wall hanger).

Any idea where I might find such a knife? Thanks.

I believe Plowshare Forge makes a replic of the Unit Z knuckle knife. That’s the sleekest knuckle knife I can think of.

Searched the Net in vain looking & mostly the stuff I found was crap. I then looked at the you tube video on the Brous knife ( great looking knife) and the very next video was from Black Beard Productions showing how to make a similar knife with a cast aluminon handle. They are still in business & can probably make you one or make the handle for a blade blank.

On the second page on Ploughshare Forge’s website they have a mk1918 trench knuckle duster knife. As long as their quality is good maybe it is perfect.

I had the opportunity to hold a genuine 1918 trench knife at a gun show earlier this year. The handle itself was sweet in how the curves fit my hand, but the knuckles themselves were too small for my liking, and the lack of wiggle room left me feeling a bit claustrophobic.
