There is almost the same number of piece than in a balisong, but that is realy awfull to produce that type of thing.
The challenge was interresting, but what a fight and i have an fred perrin original TF at home.
I make that awful thing (in 18 hours) it's very lights, dismantable and not very good built.
Closed 11 cm
Open 19cm
Pivot Thickness 1,1cm
Thickness 7 mm
O2 blade 3,2 mm thick, 10 cm long et 8 cm usefull
Weight 48grammes
Pivots and whasher in SS
Handle in Ti folded with torch and hammer that is almot forged ti handle.
I folded the two pieces of ti of 0,8mm with the same technique than for the friction folder. In the long way, that is harder.... And it's not always easy to find the good thick steel piece to folder over
.
I made my handmade screw
The différence between the pro work and mine, the edge on fred one don't touch the handle and one mine it's touch, i don't succeed to have the same blade fall than on the model.
I think to have succeed to make something totaly dismantable
I will made something straighter the next time.
That is good in the hand
With the good adjustement it's function well.

If i will retry one day, i'm sure it's will be better, but on that one i'm not satisfacted....
