Triangle box arrived! Pic heavy

I just opened up a triangle box that auntie had sent on Friday, I received it on Monday! Talk about HIKV medicine arriving on time!

I had received a Kothimoda and Mustang knife weeks earlier, so I'll start out with those!

Here's the Kothimoda, love the fullers!





I really like the decorative aspects of the Mustang Knife





The baby Foxy, is so cute, but capable, I can see why it would excel at being a fixed EDC



I just received this Everest Katana from a recent DOTD, just awesome!

Either you got no pets or that's brand new furniture, probably got caught with the triangle box huh?

Not a dog or cat hair no place.

Beautiful blades Cul, made my day just looking at them. Been kind of aching for a DOTD to feast thine eyes ya know. This is nearly as good.

Definitely a lot of work in those Mustang knives, very ornate and very pretty. I got one awhile back and it's way cool.
 
Great Everest Katana! Think i have to order one sometime. My fantasy is a custom made one with a bloodwood or purpleheart handle and red scabbard to go with it. But bloodwood, purpleheart doesn't seem to grow in Nepal. So it will just be a fantasy.

Actually, wife is asleep on the couch, and didn't see me playing with the blades, and taking pics...hehehe. I actually told her yesterday, and she was sort of ok with it, I got a small speech, but nothing too severe...whew, got away this time, with nothing but some wind burn.

I have a dog, but I took the pics in my office, and the dog isn't allowed in there. Those chairs are almost 20 years old, they were from my bachelor pad, a very long time ago. They've stayed in shape, we've been pleasantly surprised.
 
Beautiful blades. Thanks for sharing! I'll probably get some flack for this, but that Kothimoda is simply stealing the show. Expected the Katana to, but wow do the antler handle and those deep fullers sing. I can hear em all the way from the East Coast!

Those baby Foxies are just too wonderful. Perfect combo of looks and utility.

AWESOME Everest Cul!!! OMG look at that handle, it has amazing lines. That is one of the better Everests I have seen in awhile. Please post pics of it with your matching Wajisaki.

No worries, I really love the kothimoda too! You're right, the bone handle, with them fullers, are almost sensory overload.

Thanks, I have a pretty extensive collection now. I've got almost one or two of all the basic stuff.

Now I kind of keep my eyes peeled for the swords, and only the DOTD models.

Of course, I still need a Bura made blade, and another ASTK, since my brother took my one and only ASTK.

If you can get hold of some bloodwood or purpleheart you can ship it to the kamis and have them do a special order for you with those handles. Others have made similar orders. Yangdu can give you information about where to ship the wood and how to place your order.
 
Darnit Cul, I haven't bought a khuk in nearly a year (at least it feels like it) and you might just go make me go and do so. That mustang knife sure is something of a perty one. Heck, all the blades are good looking.
 
Thank cul for sharing. All beauties. Now im going to have to get a prescription for a large katana....

GB...Here's a pic of the Daisho. Katana is Kumar, Wajawski is Yuvraj (Kumar's brother), both satisaal wood handled.
