With regards to the sudden burst of snakeskin showing up recently, Eric Isaacson revealed this tidbit of information:

I asked Garth about the Snakeskin and he said this was the last of it (for machine work) and he had to dig through the shop for it. He said these were the last pieces big enough to do any machining on.

All gone now from what I understand

Well, I know it's been said before but I'll say it again. Snakeskin is easily my favorite slab material offered by Busse. If the above comment is true, this may really be the end of it. Here's my personal send off!

Unfortunately that's the extent of my personal snakeskin collection. A MOASH, HOGFSH, Tanker A and an Off Duty.

If you love snakeskin the same as I do, feel free to follow my lead and post what you've got!:thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks, I've tried a few brands available locally at the LCBO (Canada) but it was all very low thujone level, but the stuff pictured was purchased for me by my parents on their recent vacation in Holland, apparantly it has a much higher thujone level, but I'm not sure how much.

In any case, let's see some more snakeskin!:thumbup::thumbup:

Love the pics. I find the alcohol of choice kind of incongruent. "Hey buddy, pass me that 10 inch pig sticker and would you like a little Absinthe?"

ya know if you look at the the smooth handled cultelus in one of the upper pics you can see how simple the design/patter/layout seems.

it looks like a layering of tan,red or orange, black & gray.

i've heard it was an accident how it all came about but would love to know details

Love hte Snake. It's what drew me to Busse originally.

I've got 5 or 6 pieces. I sold my Snake SJTAC b/c I had too much steel, but then held onto the rest and scored a snake Cultie to replace it. LOL

Those snake NMFBM's look VERY cool. And very pricey. :(
