I just recieved my plain edge Military back from Michael Mclaurin. Michael installed a small tritium capsule in the back spacer and drilled three holes in the G-10 so it is visible from three sides. He did fantastic work and the turn-around time was fast. Whenever I set my knife down in the dark I know exactly where it is now. I do not have any pictures right now but if you are interested I believe there is a picture or two of a similiar knife in the archive.

I have a Renegade that I am thinking of installing a David Boye dent in and this got me thinking, anybody else have some neat ideas for tricking out a Spydie ??

Interesting. I´m thinking of upgrading the firing button on my L-UDT. Do you have a link/email address to him?

I have a couple knives that are just screaming for some Tritium! Please post his addy. As far as tricking out Spyderco's, I find them pretty tough to do with the couple I own. The Wegner is riveted together and the Starmate has the nested liner that makes scale replacement tough. Good thing they are pretty good out of the box :D

Mike is here at the forums under NC Blades. H is a great guy to deal with. I don't know what other knives he customizes though. A UDT with a tritium button sounds like a good idea to me though.

grantdouglas,

Thanks, I didn´t know it was that Mike. :)

I´ll contact him this week and yes a L-UDT with a tritium button looks way cool. But not $575 cool.
