today i bought a plain edged , satin bladed trident folder. it seems lik a good knife, but i wonder how it would hold up as an evreyday carry knife? the handle has a slightly cheap feel to it, but then i`m not really used to zytel folders . the blade seems thinner then first believed too. any thoughts gentleman?

SirGalant, all of my SOG zytel handled knives seem to be very tough. They are lightweight but I think that is a good thing. SOG says their zytel handles are glass filled, so I am assuming they reinforced with this glass to make them stronger, it does seem to work.

Hope this helps.

i wish australia had knife laws as liberal as america . then i would carry my seal pup every day.but since carrying knives of any sort is illegal in australia i need something easily concealible. do me a favour and describe the american knife laws to me.

update on daily carrying the trdient folder straight edge ; its working out good . discrete to carry , fast to activate , and very impressive . also if i need to cut soemthing i know i can . good knife in my opinion

I love my TF2, carry it almost everyday and so far zero problems. The handle seems to be tough as nails

as with most of my knives i carry mine almost purely for self defensive purposes.
