Trident? Hard Wear?

Found a random pic or two... the new japanese hard wear knives look kinda like spydercos.

But the trident was new to me... where do people get these? Is it just an older model, a custom, or an up and coming? It looks pretty sweet.

I'm sure John will step in here soon with more information, but as long as he hasn't i hope that i can be of service

As far as i can recall there were plans for both a manual and an automatic version of the Trident.
It might be some problems with manufacturing auto's since EKI is placed in California?
And i think that the Triton idea was put on the back-burner, too much to do at EKI.
I'm not a huge fan of all-metal knives, but if it is an Emerson and an auto i might just have to get it

Right now i'm anxiously awaiting the regular production Kerambit, oh yeah...
