I read somewhere they are changing their name.

One of the members was stating he received an awful knife from Trident and had a long hard time getting anything done to replace it or get his money back. Don't know the name sorry.

I read somewhere they are changing their name.

They already did. It's called Crusader Forge now, I think. Trident knives received pretty good reviews in various European knife magazines. They look very solid, indestructible kind.

I love the handle design on these creatures. But for the money I am going to have to keep my order with Busse for the CGFBM. I've used those knives for many, many years and they just won't break. Got some crazy pics just can't get them on the internet yet. A buddie and I actually tried to break a SHBM and a Ergo Model. No go. we were really beating the crap out of these things(REALLY TRYING TO BREAK THEM) Lateral stress and they are tough. Anyway strayed a little. Nice pics though.

-Best Wishes-

I recently purchased my 1st decent fixed blade from Trident (TCFM XL) after always having folders on my person for EDC and for work (Mostly Emerson's and Benchmades)...and that TCFM XL I purchased now goes along with me every day at work (LEO, SWAT & K-9).

It is a beast of a knife...I have absolutely no complaints about the service I received before, during (photos of my knife during different stages as it was made) or after the sale.

I also read the thread regarding the owner who was unhappy with his knife...and subsequent problems...and I can only say that I had no such problems.

Thank you for letting me know that my link came up like that! I am fixixing it.
There were many threads that came up with an advanced search for Trident knives. Try doing an adavanced search for Trident knives; I came up with 21 threads, NOT counting the 2 threads about CYA's Trident knife.

Look great. Seem functional but I am really hesitant to pay over 200 bucks for any knife going into hard use.
