Alright fellas, I need your opinion.

I want to get a new EDC for under $60. I am debating getting either the SOG Trident or the SOG Flash II. Which one would you guys suggest?

Not really a fan of either. I'd look at a Kershaw leek, shallot or blur if I were you.

I have both, I edc'd the Trident for about a year, now it's in my tackle box, the strap cutter I use for cutting line when i'm fising, don't need to open the knife. I also used it for rock climbing for a long time. The Flash 2 is my favorite between the 2, it holds an edge beautifully, its smooth opening and wicked fast. The blade shape is execellent for everyday stuff, the belly on the blade is perfect. If you can buy it with aluminum scales, may be a little bit over tour price but worth it. Good shopping!

Cool! Happy for you! Personnally, I don't think a tanto would be good for me. I live deeeeeeep in the woods. When i went to school, we had to take the ATV to take the bus, no pick up no cars can drive to our house. So i dont think that as a bush knife, a tanto blade would come in handy. Prefer good ol'belly blades.
