Trident VIS 01 Metro Tactical

I got my Trident VIS 01 Metro Tactical today, and I was pleasantly surprised by the weight and quality of the knife. Usually knives of this size (blade 3.75” open 8.75”) are a bit heavy for EDC. This knife is much lighter than my recently purchased ZT 301. The liner lock is fluid and the finish and tolerances on the knife are impressively exact. The knife was not as sharp as I prefer “out of the box”, but that is easy to remedy. The knife feels good in the hand, and the G-10 material is one of my favorites. I will place the knife in service and report back when I have more data. Since I have to pay retail for my knives, my testing is not destructive, but more representative of the typical day in and day out uses of a knife. I don’t often get to use my EDC knives for self defense, preferring a “less personal” .45 ACP for that purpose. Stay tuned for updates………
