Tried etching/stonewashing cruwear... Think I overdid it

Is it possible to re-etch after stonewashing to darken up the stonewash a bit? I think I made it too dark and stonewashed it too much so it's too much of a contrast...

 
I think it came out nice. It reminds me of Bradfords Nimbus finish.
 
Problem is certain angles look like this...

I was trying to hit that spot under the Spydiehole but feel like I wound up shaking it too much.
 
I like it. The picture all assembled looks good. I get what you’re saying about the pictures where the light hits it though.
Maybe a little apple cider vinegar or mustard to help kill the light reflection?
