I havn't heard back from CRK yet about my P Sebenza so I needed something to hold me over, and luckily another P came up for sale and I pounced on it.

Got it in late last night and it was pretty well worn, with some weird stains on the blade, so I figured why not try my hand on stonewashing myself.

I used a plastic magic bullet jar, small course blue aquarium rocks and a handful of those smooth dragon tear stones. Taped up the pivot and lockface with electrical tape, and dropped it in with some wd-40. Wrapped it all up in an old towel and dropped it in the dryer on air tumble for an hour.

Opened it up and washed the blue crap off of it, and I was amazed that it replicated CRK's stonewashing to a T.

The staining is still there but it's covered up quite well now!

Bout 45 minutes on the Edgepro and now it's ready for work again!

I can't get enough P Sebenzas....they are my all time favorite! Love it!

Looking good:thumbup:

I caught the pics of it in the for sale thread before you cleaned it up. Good work man!

Nice job! I purchased the BG42 that he was selling with your knife. I was concerned about the staining on the P, but you did fantastic work! Did you lose any of the tip of the knife in the process? It looks a bit blunt in the picuture.

Thanks guys. Im pretty happy with it!

The tip was actually flat before I started. I just sharpened it as is since it will be a user anyways.

Decided it need a quick sandblast to clean it all up since the blade was cleaned up.

Looking close to mint now!

Ready for a few years of service!
