Well, only light work for it though. I’ve been having irrigation problems for the last three weeks.
So far there have been three split underground polly pipes then the last problem was a combination of water damage and Bush Rat chewed electricals.

Anyway, to get into the problem I had to chop my way through undergrowth and blackberry vines. I thought it was a good time to try out my Skinny ASH.
It is a great all rounder and can’t wait to try it out on a Roo or two. :D
Here are some pics of the sort of terrain I’ve had to get into to reach the pump. Electricians please close your eyes to some of my bush practices. :D Remember we live away from suburbia and the prying eyes of officialdom.

Not a pretty sight.

Drove a post in to hold it all up, I’ve been meaning to do that for a couple of years now.

The Skinny is a great knife. Trouble is, I have too many great knives, so it will have to take it’s turn with the others. :D

I really need to get another skinny. For me, its the best knife Busse ever made. if i had a ash-1 LE i might say it would be the best also :)

I like a longer blade in the thick briars but with gloves and a little care I bet the Skinny ASH put a hurtin' on them.

It shows how slack i've been :D

I'm going to get a backhoe in that area for half a day to clean it all out. That pump pushes water up to a five thousand gallon holding tank about a hundred yards up hill and is controlled by a second switch in the potting area, so no one has been near it for a while until it ceases to work.

I finally did get to try my bushfire plan out though. the plan was to by pass the grid power in case of an outage with a small 2kva generator direct from the pump.

I now know that the generator is a little too small for the job.
