Took the Roselli to my cabin this past weekend, and chopped a bit with it. Interesting axe. A bit of a learning curve, but worked well:
The head is so thick, I figured it would split well. It did, but the shorter handle made it a bit inconvenient:
It feathered well. Well, if I could feather that is, haha. It's basically like using a scandi grind knife:
The bearded head allows you to get your hand behind it:
With my 11, and one of my flint strikers:
