Took the Roselli to my cabin this past weekend, and chopped a bit with it. Interesting axe. A bit of a learning curve, but worked well:

The head is so thick, I figured it would split well. It did, but the shorter handle made it a bit inconvenient:

It feathered well. Well, if I could feather that is, haha. It's basically like using a scandi grind knife:

Pretty cool axe. I'm happy with it, and glad I got it.
 
Hyvä kirves!! Nice axe, it's a really interesting shape for an axe. How is the weight, is it balanced?

Thanks man. I'd been eying one down for quite some time myself. Was a great Christmas gift.
