Recently acquired. Was very lucky to get one of each. Too bad the Weehawk wasn't polished, would have made a perfect set.

Enjoy.

Yes you are. How can you not recognize that ugly grind line?;)

Thanks for posting them!!

Because PC International Series Utility blade doesn't have a 'flat' grind all the way to the spine. It leaves 1/3 of the spine width thickness full, then it starts sloping to the edge. It gives thicker blade profile though. (somewhat not dissimlar to the tanto shown)

Besides, the tang profile is more sexier on the BM than the PC series. :)

Guess that's where you and I differ. I prefer the old PC grinds. It's more "classical" to my eyes.:)

..........the good ol' hand-ground International Series. I need another blade, like those, so Mer can re-handle it for me!!! ;) The BM blades are nice but I think I have to agree with Tony.

Tony, Dawkind,

can't agree more on the blade profile. But, my taste for TANG profile (from the roundness of the end, the guard to the ricasso, the kick, just before the edge starts), the BM 239 is sexier than PC. Can we have the combination? :p
