I'm buying a Mora, but I can't decide whether to get the blade in carbon steel or the Triflex steel Frosts of Sweden offers...any suggestions?

You'll hear this a few times, get both because they are inexpensive. You can compare them side by side and decide for yourself which one you prefer. Personally, I like the triflex Frost 780 slightly over my carbon Frost 740 due to the thicker blade. I haven't noticed any superior performance from the triflex though.

My first fixed-blade was a Mora (I`m looking at it right now :-), purchased in 1959, it`s got the Frost`s logo (in script), along with "rostfri", "med skarpa", "Mora Sweden", and "#1 stainless" engraved on the blade. It`s taken a lot of use & abuse over 50 years, and looks like it will go another 50, no problem.

I got the triflex and the stainless. The triflex will hold better up to batoning and other types of abuse, but, if you want a good cutting tool, get the stainless clipper. If you're going to get the triflex, make sure to get a good patina on the blade. But, whenever I go camping and stuff, I just bring my stainless.
