Trijicon Rifle Scopes....Any good?

I'm thinking of getting a Trijicon 3-9X40 scope with the illuminated red triangle reticle. It will be used for hunting in the dim woods here in the northeast.

Anyone own a Trijicon, who cares to comment?
 
One of my roomates served two tours in Iraq. He liked his trijicon so much it came home with him. He just bought a cheap air rifle, and wants to find a way to tap it for his trijicon. He swears by them.

My local gun shop loves them; the owner has them on his personal collection.

My 2 cents; hope it helps even though I can't comment on the specific model.

Mackenzie - DO NOT ATTACH a normal rifle scope to a spring powered air gun. It will probably destroy it. Spring powered air rifles need special scopes.

Not probably destroy it... WILL destroy it. Get a scope that is specified for air rifles.
