Mike Bartol aka mt.mike at bartolm@msn.com made these sheaths for my Busse trio. Send him and email if you want a sheath made.
At the tip is the Heavy Heart, middle is the Satin Jack L.E., and bottom is the Hell Razor.

excellent looking sheaths muzzleup...It looks like Mt.Mike did a fantastic job... I need to talk to him after my next knife arrives...

Madjack,
Go to the Busse company Store web page and click on the "sheaths" button and Mike Barto is the first one you come to. I think it has a link to his web site.

Glad you like the pictures.

Just a heads up, Mikes contact info is actually a ways down the list, the first guy is Kenny Rowe. Didnt want anyone to look and not scroll down to Mikes info. He's the fifth one down the page. Hope this helps.

Mike makes some bullet proof sheaths for sure.

Leatherman,
Yeah, you sure are right but you know if funny this morning I went to the Company Store and Mike was right up on top then I went there again after reading your responce and sure enough Mikes right were you said he was.

Thanks for the calrification. Mike does some nice work and he has model for most of the Busses too.

Very odd, its been in that order since day one, its basically cut from the Busse Combat site. Guess Skunk was playing with the site again. ;)

Thanks for the pics Ron, and thanks to everyone else for the nice comments :D

To save you a click or two, here's my NEW email addee, bartolm@msn.com

Also thanks to Captain Stanaback (of Randall fame) for his EZELap design. If you have to carry a field sharpener on the sheath, this is the way to go :)

Mike

Hi Muzzleup, very nice.

I have exactly the same three knives; we must have started collecting at the same time about two months ago!

Can you tell me the name of the field sharpener you have with the HOGSJLE and the HR?

I'm going to email Mike about some very similar setups.

Thanks

Drew

Thats an EZ Lap Model M diamond hone, its a little on the rough side till its broken in. But once you get the rough off its one of the best field sharpeners around. :) Yea, Mike is the one that got me hooked on them.

FYI all, Yes the EZ-lap M is a little rough when it is brand new. When I got mine it was approx 34yrs. ago. I took a piece of carbide and smoothed out the diamonds to the point of the sharpener feeling almost smooth but during that 34+yrs. that I have had it, it has sharpened machetes, lawn mower blades, and knive of just about every shape and size, and it still only takes a few swipes on each side of a blade to make it sharp again.
When I was working in the shipyard I would ask the riggers to let me see their knife and I would give it a couple of swipes accross my EZ-lab and hand it back to the rigger. Almost alway they wanted to know where I got it and it just so happened that I had 1 or 2 on me to sell. Every one that I sold (maybe 3 doz. or so) I told the person to follow the directions that came with the EZ-lap since you could just as easy ruin a good knife as you could sharpen it!

It's a great tool and I am still using my original one as well as carry one on the sheaths that Mike made for me. The EZ-lap holder is an extra item when ordering a sheath but you can bet your bippy that it's worth it.
I did not get one on my Heavy Heart since that sucker is heavy enough without adding another oz. to the sheath.

Hope this helps!
Ciao
