These are the first tomahawks to leave the shop in a while. They all went to the same customer. All 1/4" 4140 and black TeroTuf, with Kydex sheaths set up with a second retention strap, MOLLE locks, and shoulder slings.

An 18" Wrecker.

An 18" War Chief with sharpened inner beard.

And a 12" Woodsman, pics taken prior to the carry hardware being added to the sheath.

He wants some more. I shall not endeavor to dissuade him. :D

Hope to get another batch waterjetted this week, but most of those will be for a group buy. Hopefully a couple of prototypes will be in there too, though.

nice!
I have one of your 12" warchiefs - great hawk!
I need a 15" woodsman now :)

Looking forward to seeing your prototypes too!

James, all hawks have been received and are beautiful! The 12 inch woodsman has already seen some use while on a short fishing trip as well as some excess lumber destruction from building my deck. I was a little reluctant on the 12 inch at first but that little sucker can do some work! I am very pleasantly surprised at how well these chop compared to other hawks I own....very impressed. And the sheaths........holy smokes they have great retention! As James mentioned, I did order with a second retention strap but talk about redundant, these things aren't going anywhere on accident. I absolutely will be buying more! The question is, just how many will that be? Lol!

I highly recommend to anyone who was ever on the fence about one of these 'hawks from James. Hell of a guy to deal with and most importantly, a quality product that surpasses other competitors in the market for an incredible overall value. Love 'em!

Thanks, guys! :)

Sigarett - You did have a shorter wait than usual since these were already on hand ground and heat treated. I continue to try to get things arranged where I can be more efficient and turn out more quickly. :)

Will one of the Protos have the spike that can break padlocks?

I hope so...

@Storm Crow,,,
Was curious where you get your steel? Cant find wide stuff, or do i need to weld a head on a shank to put a hawk together?
You know how us DIY guys are,,,, would love to just buy one o yours but figure making one would be fun,
Im sure the forge purists will smack me around for suggesting welding on something in these forums...

I buy 4' x 8' sheets of 1/4" 4140 from EMJ Metals and have it shipped to my waterjetters. For smaller stuff, you might check out Speedy Metals.
