I truly promise, no more posts for today. Just the last 3 pics, of my Raptor line. modified sheepsfoot blade shapes - very useful style IMHO. The first is a full-sized version - 3inch blade of BG-42, cryo-ed, triple tempered to 60-61HRC, tapered tang, handle slabs of burgundy-red Tex-Tuff (Texas Knifemakers Supply's version of G-10). Kydex sheath. Looked like a plum colour so thats what I called it. The handles are quite bulbous for a hand filling grip.
Beneath are 2 Mini-Raptors with 2-3/4inch blades of 440C cryo-ed and triple tempered, 59HRC, handles respectively, of green canvas Micarta with luminous inserts and a Malachite inlay, satin finished hence the name "GEM"- the Green Eyed Monster; the next is one with stabilised "Raspberry Jam" with marked fiddlebacking that only shows up in 3D effect. Oh Well ... The sheath is Kydex. The detachable belt loop system shown suits low drop, high ride, reverse grip, and is modular to any other Kydex sheath I make, where indicated.
Thanks for looking and I'll stop posting pictures now. Cheers.
