Ok, well, this Sunday my dad and I are heading up North to visit a certain custom maker's shop for me to learn about making custom knives, hang out, and even go fishing
. I won't say who until I get back, and post a crap load of pictures. We're going to stay there a week and according to said maker, we should be able to be in the shop between 5-7 hours a day, see him make knives, and by the end of the week I'll have something that I made to bring back with me. A real great guy and such a generous thing to do.
I also want to thank my dad, because if it weren't for him, I wouldn't have been able to make this happen, and at 1st I wasn't really intrested in learning how to make knives, but my dad kinda nudged me a little and the little stock removal I've done is a blast and I couldn't be happier and more thrilled to actually get such an incredible opportunity like this. THANKS DAD!
The only guy who knows whose shop I'm going to is Charlie Mike, so Matt, DON'T TELL. LOL
